Throughout 2011 investors have increasingly viewed the London real estate market as a relatively safe haven for capital, driven in part by the social and economic unrest in Middle Eastern markets.”
The expert went on to say that the “mature legal framework” that underlies the country’s property market, as well as the low cost of borrowing and the under supply of housing in key areas of London, are all factors that have helped to attract foreign investment into the city, particularly from the Gulf countries.
