How Important are Bathrooms?

It is not always obvious exactly how important bathrooms are. From residences to hotels to those businesses who offer bathroom facilities to both staff and customers, a bathroom is obviously going to be a necessity, but how important are they to get right?

In the home, a bathroom is one of the most important rooms, offering more potential for relaxation and revitalisation than any other room, and therefore everything from the decor and bathroom suites you buy right through to the plumbing supplies you use to keep the bathroom in its optimum condition are going to be extremely important.

When it comes to businesses though, it is not always quite as obvious as to how important the right bathroom supplies are going to be. After all, no hotel ever sold its rooms on the fact that it had a particular bathroom mirror or a lovely hot bath awaiting guests and no car showroom ever offloaded numerous vehicles on the strength of its toilet roll holder alone.

However, for businesses, bathrooms can still make a great deal of difference. If the rest of your workplace is extremely attractive, but the toilet is overlooked, people are likely to remember the negative far more readily, mostly due to the fact that bathrooms end up being such an intimate and personal place. In turn, any hard work can suffer simply due to an oversight on the bathroom supplies you have and the upkeep the bathroom has.

Likewise, for guest houses, the right bathroom is possibly more important than the bedrooms themselves.  Many hotels overlook plumbing supplies and offer average bathroom facilities that far from satisfy. And whilst people will rarely consider the bathroom before they arrive, on arriving, if the facilities offered are poor, they will very much be remembered, in many cases even more than the room facilities themselves.
