Us Brits love a summer barbeque or two, probably because it is not very often we get to enjoy warm, hot sunshine. Holding a garden party or having friends around for dinner means you need to invest in a good quality and attractive garden furniture though.
Wood and especially teak garden furniture have always been popular choices as this material looks good, can be painted another colour if you fancy a change, can stand its own against the elements and it is strong enough to last for many years to come.
It can be quite disappointing in making the effort to get all dressed up to arrive at a friend’s barbeque to find they do not have anywhere appropriate for you to sit or worse still- they do not have any garden furniture. Having wood furniture makes your patio area seem like an extension of your home which means guests will feel more comfortable and relaxed. In addition as it looks good, this means it will not look out of place when holding a formal party such as an anniversary celebration or even a baby’s christening party.
