Beginning his singing career when he was only 3 years old, Austin Mahone is an American male pop singer born April 4, 1996. His career started officially when he created several videos on Youtube with one of his friends, Alex Constancio.
This February’s Valentines Day he launcehd a new song, called Eleven Eleven and at the same time, he was performing at a concert which sold out an entire Paramount Theatre. This song not only made it to the top of the charts in some pop categories, but it also actually ended up in the Top 30 best songs in the Billboard Social Chart, both in the United Kingdom and in the USA. Mahone was the youngest singer to ever appear on the chart.
Austin Mahone was born in San Antonio and his father passed away after he was only 1.5 years old. Even though he was in the local high school, due to his rising popularity, he had to be homeschooled after a certain point.
He started out by creating a few of his music videos and his cover songs on Youtube, which is a powerhouse for making things go viral. Often described as a teenage heartthrob, Mahone’s main fan base is teenage girls who are nicknamed “Mahomies.” Austin Mahone has a large followship on Twitter, with almost 700k people trying to get his attention, but he rewards everyone with his daily Keek videos.
Frequently compared to and often cited as the second coming of pop singer Justin Bieber, Austin has styled himself after Justin, with a similar appearance, mannerism and singing style. As per his fan’s requests, Austin has posted many remakes, or cover songs of Justin Bieber on his Youtube account. Austin’s Cover of the song Mistletoe by Justin Bieber actually surprassed the number of views of the original song. Before his videos becoming viral, Austin made a youtube channel which had a large number of cover remakes that he has ever recorded. To repay his fans for making everything possible, he creates a live-stream every week for them.
Austin has become very successful in a very short time and at a very short age, something many adults with university degrees do not succeed at doing. Even though there’s a tough competition in his field, Austin has made extremely smart business decisions, rising his fame up all by himself, through social media, without the requirement of a record label or any large agents.
In addition to having a golden voice, Mahone also plays the piano, drums and the guitar and also produces his personal line of tee shirts and jewelry and is an avid basketball player in his free time. Within the next year, Austin will be releasing his first album. Currently Austin is residing with his mother in Miami, Florida.
